The California Consortium for Independent Study – Region IX will be awarding scholarships to students graduating from Independent Study in the 2007-2008 school year. The scholarships are available to both high school and adult education Independent Study students.  Scholarship(s), in amounts ranging from $200 - $500, will be paid directly to the student upon proof of enrollment in a trade school, college or university by the financial aid office of that institution.  The scholarship must be claimed, by supporting documentation, within 18 months or it is forfeited.
